Dra. Natalia Molina Areal

The most effective defence begins by understanding exactly how the prosecution thinks

Dra. Molina Areal joined the Santiago del Estero Public Prosecutor’s Office in 2018 and remained there for six years, until 2024. She worked within a fully adversarial criminal procedure system and was responsible for the criminal investigation phase in matters involving gender-based and domestic violence, ordinary offences and complex criminal cases, representing the prosecution in pre-trial hearings before pre-trial judges (judges of guarantees) and before the Court of Appeal, with direct participation in oral trials.

That is not merely academic knowledge: it is the difference between studying how an accusation works and having actually conducted one. Dra. Molina Areal prepared applications for pre-trial detention, built prosecutorial case theories and represented the State against defence counsel in oral hearings. That perspective — now fully redirected to criminal defence and victim representation — makes it possible to anticipate the prosecution’s case theory, identify evidentiary weaknesses and design counter-arguments before the first hearing.

With outstanding academic training — Summa Cum Laude at UCSE, Specialist in Criminal Law (National University of Rosario) and Master’s Candidate in Criminal Law (Universidad Austral) — Dra. Molina Areal combines doctrinal rigour with real litigation experience in the modern adversarial criminal procedure.
