Pro Bono / Ad Honorem Private Prosecution: Selected Cases, No Professional Fees
We take on a limited number of cases per year on a
pro bono / ad honorem basis:
no professional fees charged, subject to
objective criteria and
documentary verification.
This is not a universal “free lawyer” service: it
is a selection process with limited places and technical priority
criteria.
In 60 Seconds
- What it is: representation as private prosecutor / aggrieved party (depending on jurisdiction) in selected cases.
- What we assess: severity, minimum verifiable evidence, public impact / precedent value.
- What it is not: state-funded legal aid or a general offer of free representation.
- Important: there may be third-party costs (expert fees, reports, procedural steps), agreed in writing before commencement.
To protect your privacy, please do not send personal details or sensitive documents via WhatsApp: a brief summary and a contact telephone number is sufficient.
Is this the same as state-funded legal aid?
No. Pro bono / ad honorem representation is a voluntary, selective professional decision by the firm. It is not universal or automatic, and it is subject to limited places and technical review.
To submit a case for consideration, we assess the following (with minimum verifiable documentation):
- Objective severity: risk to life, serious physical harm, liberty or grave violation of rights.
- Verifiable evidence: police report / proceedings, medical records, witnesses, digital evidence. We do not commence proceedings based solely on an account with no minimum supporting material.
- Public interest / pattern: multiple victims, criminal organisation, systematic practices or potential for relevant precedent.
Important Note on Costs
The fact that the firm charges no fees does not mean zero cost. There may be third-party costs (party-appointed expert fees, reports, notarial services, procedural steps, transport) necessary to sustain the evidence plan. Those costs are disclosed and agreed in writing before commencement.
What Does the Representation Include?
- • Filing and admission as Private Prosecutor / Aggrieved Party (depending on jurisdiction).
- • Evidentiary momentum and monitoring of the prosecutorial investigation.
- • Technical opposition to attempts to close or archive the case (and appeals where appropriate).
- • Preservation and strategy for digital evidence where relevant.
- • Coordination with any civil claim when the case warrants it (without guaranteeing outcomes).

Minimum Documentation Required
For a swift assessment, the following is sufficient:
- Identification of jurisdiction (CABA / Province of Buenos Aires) and status of the case file (if one exists).
- Police report / court record or case number (if available).
- Medical records and photographs (if there are injuries) with approximate date.
- List of witnesses and contact numbers.
- Relevant digital evidence (screenshots, links, file copies).
Cases That Typically Qualify
If your situation falls within any of the following, it typically qualifies (always subject to available places and review).
- Serious Gender-Based Violence Repeated incidents, attempted femicide or serial breaches of protective measures.
- Serious Road Traffic Accidents Death or grievous bodily harm with abandonment of the injured party, alcohol or other aggravating circumstances.
- Large-Scale Cybercrime and Fraud Organised fraud with multiple victims and complex traceability.
- Medical Negligence Death or irreversible harm with minimum verifiable documentary support.
